Crawling isn’t just a milestone, it’s a powerful building block for your child’s development.

Even before a child starts crawling, they are building strength in their shoulders, arms, and core when they practice pushing up. This lays the foundation for fine motor skills like writing and self-feeding.

Crawling also plays an important role in integrating primitive reflexes, which are automatic movement patterns babies are born with. As these reflexes integrate, it helps support more controlled, coordinated movements needed for learning and everyday tasks.

Crawling supports coordination between both sides of the body, which is essential for tasks like dressing, playing, and learning.

It also helps develop visual skills and spatial awareness as babies explore their world.

Before rushing to walking, remember… crawling matters more than you might think.
